Oscars 2015 celebrated the best performers of all time. However, fashion wise not all of the actors made the right choice for the occasion. Who nailed the look and who, instead, tried (maybe) too hard to succeed, but ended up with tragic fail? There were many guests at the event but I tried to keep it short with a list of the 4 best and the 4 worst outfit of the Oscars’ night 2015.
The Night (yes the capital letter is not a mistake) of the year has finally got to its end and I couldn’t help but stare at the Academy Awards 2015 without giving a close up to all the outfits. Before getting to my list, I really care to congratulate with all the winners and with Patrick Neil Harris who hosted the event for the first time doing an amazing job.
I must say that overall guests played a little safe this year and I didn’t see eccentric or exaggerated looks, both in a positive and negative way. So here is my personal ranking of the best and worst dressed of the Oscars 2015.
TOP 4 BEST DRESSED
Choosing among the most beautiful dress on the market it’s been a tough job but I’m confident I managed to pull out the 4 best outfits of the night. And the winners are: Gwyneth Paltrow, Jamie Chung, Emma Stone and the Wintour’s family.
Indeed, I fell in love with all their dresses. Each of them had something that made these ladies look unique and ravishing. Gwyneth is a guarantee and she was rightfully on the podium with her long pale pink one shoulder dress with the rouches and her beautiful earrings. Jamie Chung was wearing a Yanina couture toulle dress that left us speechless, so elegant and classy. What needs to be said on Emma’s dress, the high split long dress, the 50’s style ginger hair, the make up: everything screams perfection. Last, but not least, couldn’t be missing the most stylish family of them all: the Wintour’s. More than Anna, I think that Bee was the one catching my attention. A real elegant long flower printed dress that hihlights her skin and hair color.
TOP 4 WORST DRESSED
Not everyone scored their best outfit during the night. We were expecting some better looks from these celebrities and I was quite disappointed by Nicole and, above all, Lady Gaga who usually tends to dare a bit more than this with her red carpets. Hard to give a comment on Beyonce‘s sister and Laura Dern who seems to have been inspired by a middle age knight for her outfit.
What is your opinion? Write to me and tell me what you think about this Oscar 2015 edition. I am really curious to know your rank.
