Who will be the best dressed of this year Oscars‘s night ceremony 2015? I am still making my guess list and I can’t wait to make my own private live ranking the next 22nd of February. So, what to do while waiting for the big night? Start imagining what I would wear if I had the chance to be there, right? It’s not bad dreaming with your eyes open after all.
The New York Fashion Week is almost over and we are getting ready for one of our favorite event of the year: the Oscars’s night ceremony in Los Angeles. It’s the most glamorous of the events and I am ready to spend my night watching all the dresses and outfits of the actors invited. This year the even will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris (which I love) so we can bet on a memorable exhibition.
From what I am seeing through the NYFW collections I can definitely tell that the word of the year is: sensuality. So our inspiration for the outfit of the week got its roots starting from this word. How to make a women desirable but not too sexy? Challenge accepted, I would say.
Here is what I would wear for the Oscars’ night this year. I decided to keep it simple and play with color contrast between pale cream color and bordeaux. One shoulder long gown by Armani ( I know this is the year of the split, but I thought a one shoulder dress would be classier) matched with high heels sandals and a pair of ruby and gold earrings. As simple as that. Adding too many accessories would have made the outfit too heavy while I think, in this occasion, it is the person wearing the look that should give the value to it. My suggestion would be to focus on your hair updos (these colors are perfect both if you are brunette or blond) and make up. With a matt red lipstick and a light line of black eyeliner you can never go bad. Choose the clutch you like the most for the event. I couldn’t miss the chance to dream about my new bag on the red carpet:)
